Wedding Whirlwind

Nick and I left for Florida on April 17th for a wedding in Florida on April 19th. Nick's good friend Jon from High School got married to Caroline (love this girl!) and Nick was in the wedding party. It was a great get away with close friends, and the first time Nick and I have been away as a couple since Nicholas was born. The wedding was smaller, about 70 or so people - intimate, fabulous, and we all had a great time. We were very lucky to have my parents come up and stay with Nicholas while we were away. I'm pretty sure my Mom will sleep for two days straight, but I know it was worth it for them both :)

Here are some pictures of the trip and wedding:

As if that wasn't busy enough, the day after the wedding we were up at 3 am for a 6 am flight back to Massachusetts. Nick's good friend Andrew and Shaela got married on April 20th and but of course, Nick was in this wedding as well. We were thankfully able to get into Boston without a problem, got home to see the baby, and Nick had to leave at noon as the wedding ceremony was at 2:30. It was another beautiful wedding and we had a great time. My feet and legs are killing me today because I was a dancing fool (seriously...a fool...I'm afraid to see the pictures that the photographer took...for real!) I didn't take too many picture at this wedding, but here are a few.

Overall it was a great time, but we were very thankful that the baby napped a lot today so we could get in some extra zzzz's :)

Alexis came over to help out my parents a bit and here are a few ADORABLE pictures she sent me:

Busy Week

Work has been pretty stressful lately, but home life is pretty darn good. Nicholas has been happy and giggley (as per usual) but seems to want to eat every 5 minutes. It doesn't bother me one bit. We have a "snack catcher" where more food ends up in Dexter's mouth than Nicholas', but that's ok. I'm used to the crunch of Cheerios under my feet now.

Here are some pics from the week.

This onesie is from a company called Clevotine that I found through Instagram and is on Etsy. It's a great company that donates 25% of sales to Boston Terrier Rescue Leagues. I have three shirts from them :)

He has been very expressive with his eyes lately, I sort of captured it in this picture and it's funny to watch. He's most expressive when he's eating (shocker)

Typical dude, loves his gadgets. This is an old TV remote which he loves to walk around with (and eat)

We took a walk today, the weather was beautiful!

Just helping out with some laundry
