Back before I had Nicholas Nick and I would alternate holidays with the family. Thanksgiving in MA, Christmas in NY, then switch the following year. This year was the first year we started that up again and headed to NY for Thanksgiving, where we hadn't been for the holiday since 2011. We had a really great time with at Erik & Joe's house and we got to meet my brother Dylan's new girlfriend (now fiancé), Mariana. She was very sweet and Nicholas loved her and my brother is happy, so I am happy.
The day after Thanksgiving Erik and I took Nicholas to see The Peanuts Movie and it is without question the sweetest and cutest movie I have seen in a long time. I highly recommend if you have (or even if you don't) have little ones. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can see it again!
Here are some pictures from Turkey Day :)
We headed back to New York the saturday morning after as we had a "friends giving" event at a friends house nearby. It was great to relax and just hang and start prepping for the holiday. <3

Thanksgiving Weekend
The night before Thanksgiving we started a new tradition last year where we all get together and make pies- we had a great time- even when the power went out and we had to cook (and dance) by candlelight.
We had a wonderful and quiet Thanksgiving which we hosted with just Nick's parents, Alexis and Rich, and Aaron and Morgan joined us later in the evening. I had a great outfit picked out for Nicholas, but someone was NOT a fan of the vest.
I got him to agree to a few pictures but I let him take it off after that (the "family" photo is my favorite, haha)
We had WAY too much food but everything was delicious and it was a great laid back evening- the way the holiday should be :)
The Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to our friend Mark and Sarah's house who had an awesome "Friendsgiving" - tons of food, delicious Apple Crisp, and great company. It was a wonderful grown up night out:)

Gobble Gobble
We had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving this year at Nick's parents house. Ate a lot, talked a lot, laughed a lot. It was a good day. I have so much to be thankful for, and I recognize that every single day.

Happy Turkey Day
I am thankful for so many things, most importantly my wonderful family and the fact that we are all healthy and happy. Nick and I have been truly blessed with an amazing little boy and I can't believe this time last year he was in my belly! We went over to Nick's cousin Sam and his wife Aisling's house for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful visit. I hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Pictures
Here are a few pics from our nice extended weekend on Long Island:
My two boys, can't wait to have a pic like this with my third boy next year!
Peanut Butter pie that Erik made at my request - delicious!
Erik & Joe's beautifully decorated fall table (but I was quick to point out there were no pictures of Nick and I on it ;)
After dinner we relaxed by sitting on the couch and playing Words with Friends against each other. Those without an iPhone or iPad were not amused. :)
A tradition I started with my mom, this is the third year we've done it. I told her I think they get a little uglier each year that we do it.
Dexter being a good boy...he was wiped out once the weekend was over
Indy, Bella, and Max
Baby's first Thanksgiving! (not really but you know what I mean!)
