Today was a really good day. We spent the morning with Kingsley and the kiddos and they had a great time- not too much yelling or hair pulling. Nicholas asks about his cousins a lot and I'm really trying to be better about getting them together more often.
Nicholas took a very short nap today (he was woken up by the door bell) and then since he was cranky, I got him outside for a bit and we took a quick walk- the weather is unseasonably warm for November- I love it!
On our walk we were running and kicking through leaves, and when we got back to the house we were laying down in the yard together looking up at the sun and sky. He crawled over to me and laid with his back to my chest and I leaned in to hold him closer. I thought to myself: these are the memories that I will cherish when I am old and grey. It doesn't matter how much you have, or where you're from, or where you've been. Life is all about the little things.

Moments
Nicholas has been growing so quickly- every day I feel he picks up a new word (some of them not so great) or learns or does something new. It is amazing to watch and I'm so very fortunate to witness it all. Some of my favorite moments of late:
