Another quick update - Nicholas had his first doctor's visit and it went smashing! He was about 6lbs 15oz at the appt so now it's on to get him back up to his birth weight of 7lbs 6oz by his next appt wednesday (it is totally normal for babies to lose up to 10% of their birth weight after they are born). I don't think it'll be a problem because the kid eats like a champ. He is healthy and doing well. Our pediatrician and his wife actually had their baby the same day as we did, so he was "comparing" our situations a little but in a nice way.
We'll talk shots/vaccinations at the next appt and I'm already afraid for him!
