Specifics on the csection

Here are the specifics of why I had a c-section, thanks to Momma D (Nick's mom is a delivery nurse at the hospital where I gave birth).

The condition you had was HELLP Syndrome which stands for hemolysis (or breakdown of the red blood cells), elevated liver enzymes (amylase, SGOT, SGPT,etc..) low platelets (or clotting factors usually 150-200,000 but yours was dropping and as low as 110,000 (below 100,000 is really scary because you can have excessive bleeding.

H-Hemolysis
EL- Elevated liver enzymes
LP- Low Platelets

A rather rare complication of pregnancy that I think occurs due to delayed or untreated PIH (or pregnancy induced hypertension). Delivery is the cure and rarely does it occur in subsequent pregnancies although hypertension may as well as gestational diabetes.
