My dad had his radiology/oncology appointment Thursday. He will go through 8 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week, for about 15 minutes a day. My dad is the toughest dude I know and I have full confidence he will be just fine. He has a few appointments for other things and will then start the radiation, probably within the next few weeks.
We went to a fundraiser last night for a long time friend of Nick's. Dannah's husband Paul has stage 4 throat cancer and has gone through chemo and is now beginning radiation. There was a huge turn out and I'm sure a lot of money was raised. We actually bet on and won a silent auction prize - it was great to give money to a good cause. We got to see a lot of friends we hadn't seen in awhile as well - Nick's parents watched the babe for us and Dan, Kingsley, and Alexis came with us - it was a great adult night out :)
Here's some recent pics of the babe. He's doing really well, babbling a lot, and the other day on the activity mat he turned on his side and was trying to eat one of the pieces that hang down for him to swat. Also, if you prop him up in the boppy he tries to lean forward and hold himself up- it's pretty darn cute. He's been sleeping from around 8:30p-5:30a which is great!
Aaron's brother commented on this picture saying: I thought cloning was illegal!
Laughing his head off while being changed - so much better then when he used to just scream non stop :)
More smiles
Hey GQ! Yes, that is an argyle diaper. My Aunt Cookie's girlfriend Lila got him these limited edition diapers and they are hilarious!
Hanging out on the boppy
Cuter than Cookie Monster :)
