Baby Randoms

Just some fun random baby things of late...

I call him "pumpkin pie" all the time. as in, hi pumpkin pie!

When changing his diaper and he's a bit crabby, I say "You peed? I can't believe it!" and that almost always makes him laugh. I remember early pediatrician appointments when the doc would ask, does he have at least 4 wet diapers a day? And we would say "do you mean 40?" I think of how lucky we are to have a healthy baby, and something as simple as him constantly peeing his diaper is a good thing :)

Earlier this week I picked up Nicholas at Day Care and they informed me how they fight over him, that he's such a sweet, even tempered baby. A young girl who works part time said helping take care of him makes her want to have a baby. I told her to wait at least 10 years :)

Nicholas LOVES me singing "wheels on the bus" and "the itsy bitsy spider". He also likes when I sing gibberish. George (my father in law) also informs me he likes The Everly Brothers, but not The Beatles (likes his Mama).

The babe burps on his own now. After you feed him, you try to burp him and he gets kind of annoyed. Within 2-3 minutes, he burps at least once, often more than that. Our little guy is really growing up!
