Brew Party

Nick recently brewed his own beer and we had a party this past weekend to celebrate it. Apparently it was pretty good because the guys ( about 8 total?) managed to drink 5 gallons of it. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't comment, but Nick put in a lot of work so I'm glad his efforts paid off :)

It was an eclectic group of friends but we had a great time. Nick's cigar buddies, one of my friends from work, Nick's good friends from Dracut, his HS friends from Nashua. All in all it was a lot of fun. I've always been good at planning parties, but it is a world of difference when you have a little one to watch out for. I was able to leave him with my friends to look after when I was getting stuff ready or cleaning up, but I still (of course) found myself checking on him every second just to make sure he wasn't doing something dangerous or eating rocks or who knows what. My friend Maggie's daughter Lila just turned 2 and my friend Katy's son is 1 1/2. Quinton just turned 2 as well and little Teddy is almost 7 months, so Nicholas had plenty to keep him busy.
