I'm not a big fan of fancy photo shoots. Nick bought me a beautiful camera a few years back- although I don't know how to use it properly, it still takes amazing pictures. I feel like since I have this beautiful camera, why am I paying a buttload for someone else to take pictures? I did a photo shoot at Babies R Us with Nicholas when he was six months old and that's it. A friend of mine, Laurie, (who is best friends with my good friend Maggie) started doing photography as a side job last year and she had a great special on a mini photo shoot that I couldn't pass up. Laurie is a friendly, beautiful woman and we had a great time. Here are the results of that shoot. It took place at Shedd Park in Lowell.
If you have a moment and are on Facebook, please like her page: Natural Capture Photography. xoxo
Also, I should point out Laurie and I have the same camera but she is CLEARLY 1,000 times better with it than I am.
Also, yes, I realized my hair looks ridiculous in some of these pictures and I'm getting it cut on Wednesday. I wanted to not cut it for a year (it's been six months) but it is just grossly out of control.

Love the photos!
Laurie is a great photographer... What kind of camera do you both have?
Thank you! I think Laurie actually has a different camera now but I have a Nikon D3000 and I love it. :)
