Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. – Elizabeth Stone

Nick and I are happy to announce we are expecting our first child in March of 2012. I'm sorry we couldn't tell everyone in person and I thought this would be the best way to get the news out.
Here's a shot of the baby belly...I promise it won't be my pale stomach every time, but I felt the need to show everyone that I already have a pouch! It's a wretched morning picture of me, I'll try for better next time.

I LOVE THIS! I LOVE YOU NICK AND THE BABY! WOOHOO!
Yay!! Congrats to you and Nick! We're all so happy for you guys!
WOOO HOOO! Congratulations! So excited for you guys. Welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood... it is funny when I all of a sudden noticed that your blog title had changed to "life as I know it" I thought...that sounds like something you would say when you are about to have a baby... did you change it after you found out or did I just not notice a much earlier change of title
Thanks so much Amber. My dad showed me some pics of Kate - she is just beautiful! You should start a blog ;)
Becky I was pregnant when I changed the name, but I changed it because I wanted to come up with something more interesting than "Crystal's Blog". I love Lauren Silverio's "six past midnight" title so I tried to make mine a little more interesting. And thank you - we're really excited :)
