Nicholas is 10 Months Old

Yowza!

This guy is getting bigger by the minute!

Likes: Crawling, pulling up, cruising. He'll let go of the table for a minute or two and then grab it again quick. He plops down on his butt and moves around with ease.

The tub. He's starting to stand up in it now which makes me nervous, but we're of course always within inches of him to catch him if he falls.

SpongeBob. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but he loses his mind when the theme song comes on. He sits on his knees and basically "dances/inches" forward with his arms flapping in the air. Thankfully, he loses interest after the theme song is over so we're not forced to watch any more of it.

People in general - he is pretty happy and will mostly go to anyone, he's not overly clingy but definitely favors me over Nick right now. He'll always look for me and often cry if I hand him off to Nick to cook dinner/ do whatever.

His socks. He gets them off just about as fast as I put them on. He likes holding them in his hands, eating them, flailing about with them.

Dislikes:

Having his diaper changed/getting dressed. I don't know what is up with this! About 50% of the time he's laughing and playing with a toy I give him, and the other half he's screaming and turning red and crying. Thankfully, if I'm cleaning poop he's usually pretty calm (phew!)

New and noteable:

He's starting to "say" more. Ba, da, and the occasional ma. He waves bye bye like a pro now - he followed Nick's sister all around the house waving bye and it made her even harder for her to leave, it was so cute.

He sort of claps too, more like "throws" his hands together.

If you give him a ball he'll try to throw it but it basically goes behind him (hilarious).

Sleep: This has been great, he's down at 7:30 and will wake up a little before 6 or a little after, and we can leave him in his crib until about 6:15 when we have to get up to get ready for the day anyway.

Food: He's getting more finger foods, we offer them at every meal. We've tried sweet potatoes, zucchini, pasta, cheese, broccoli, and whole wheat bread, and probably a few I'm forgetting. He couldn't handle the tiny pieces of chicken even though he has 8 teeth, so I'm going to give that another try in a few weeks. He LOVES puffs and the Ella's ginger apple cookies, and he definitely favors the cheese over any other finger food (eek...gotta find some more options!)
